Degausser

Degaussing is the process of reducing or eliminating an unwanted magnetic field (or data) stored on tape and disk media such as computer and laptop hard drives, diskettes, reels, cassettes etc.

It feels suitable to apply the same concept to brewing. We start with brew number one, and over time we slowly remove, refine and eliminate the pieces we no longer want to have perceived in our beer.
