Times, They Have Changed is a beer to mark the year 2020. Seminal moments in world history have a way of putting a dent in your memory and there is no doubt that 2020 was a year loaded with one moment crazier than the next. A seminal year in every sense of the word.
It’s impossible to ignore 2020 for what it was; the year our society as we know it changed forever. How exactly we refer to it in future is still to be determined, but at the very least 2020 will forever be looked at as an outlier year in recorded history.
There is no doubt that 2020 was the calendar year equivalent of a sad poop emoji, but hopefully we can all look back on it one day and hate it less than we do now.
6 years later, certainly the contours of how we will remember 2020 are beginning to form. I can’t say I hate it less, but we can continue to hope I guess!
